No, I don't need one yet, but I thought of something last night -- how I could get my hands on a power package as cheaply as possible. How about we turn an engine replacement into an opportunity? My question is: has anybody with a blown engine asked Porsche for a remanuf x51 as compensation? Screw compensation, has anybody asked Porsche if they could throw in the difference in cost to get an X51? I would think this would be *way* cheaper than paying to get it done on your existing engine... I bet something could be worked out. Now I'm not dreading my engine grenading as much

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
