Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi guys, So, having a porky some what has taught me that such a beauty needs to be treated well and so imperfection needs retifying! I am indeed a person who needs things to be done my way. Currently i have 2 major problems that is bothering me. Firstly, The seals around my car needs replacing ... It has all gone wavy . Secondly, Rattling from my roof is getting worse by the day. Sounds like COINS being shaked around. My biggest problem is, having to live in singapore, parts like these are really hard to get for a porsche and if possible they cost a BOMB. (Please dont ask me to go my local dealer, Stuggart Auto) Anyone knows the best place to get such parts so it is less damaging to my pocket? Cheers!

Here you go: http://www.sunsetimports.com/porsche/ Best prices, period. They are really nice guys, too.

+1 on Sunset. Talk to Jeff or Luke in parts, or email them what you need and they'll come back to you with a quote.

The rattle in the headliner might be a loose tension rod (if that is the correct term) in the headliner. They span the roof, holding the headliner in place, and are held in place by plastic clips. The rods can pop out. It is reasonably easy to remove the headliner and sanp back into place (no $ spent). You need to remove some of interior trim to access the headliner.

I like this term for the pcar. First I've heard it on this forum. Now I have a good reply when one of my lingerie models asks what kind of car I drive.

POST 7Original post

if for whatever reason you don't like sunset, you can get the same prices at www.parts.com...although I'm not sure they ship to singapore.

Unfortunately, I do not do my own car. I just drop it off at my workshop. I dropped by the other day and my mech says that i would need to leave the car there for at least a day or two because they would need to remove the pillars to access the headliner and then from there diagnos the problem. Is there a simpler way?

I think you need to share some pictures of your workplace...
