Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Good afternoon peoples Admitedly there is a tonne of information by fellow rennlisters on after market exhausts and their effects, different combinations muffler bypass or cat bypass or both, new headers etc etc etc. The problem, i have noticed, is that with the cat bypass we may incurr a problem with the lamda sensors registering an error (please correct me if im wrong) in addition to the fact that with a cat bypass the vehicle may not pass UK emissions tests (yearly MOT) This is something i would not like to undertake, however i do admit that the current tame sound does need to be rectified. I can see fabspeed parts, maxflo parts i also sporty cats mufflers etc... on the whole, without losing performance.... creating a great sound (not a tug boat) and not have an error warning due to failed lamda sensors (emissions) what would be the overall reccomendation? Thank you again.... s
