Just got it in today. RUF frotn bumper complete with massive air ducts and all! I hear it is the only in the country for the 996 99-00 C2. I could be wrong. But anyways. Going to paint, hopefully will have pics on monday!!! They also sent me the side skirts which I AM not using. Will sell the pair of RUF side skirts for $700 shipped OBO.

Not quite the only one in the country. But if you promise to stay west of the Mississippi I'll stay east of the Mississippi and we can both claim we have the only one in the country. Great choice. The bumper is really good quality and the only aftermarket bumper I found that is made of polyurethane like the OEM bumper. I think you should put on the RUF side skirts to match.

RUF claims the bumper generates more down force and provides better cooling than the stock bumper. Obviously the bigger openings allow more air to the radiators but in addition the bumper also comes with bigger ducts to channel more air to the brakes. I wasn't able to find the bumper on eBay. I do know that there are replicas out there (Getty Design makes one, for example) but they are made of fiberglass so be careful if you buy from eBay. The genuine RUF bumper is made of polyurethane -- better fit, able to take minor bumps without cracking, etc. -- like the OEM bumper. I purchased mine from Weissach (this was before the RUF Autocentre opened in Dallas.) BTW, they also make a matching wing that I think looks pretty sharp. Unfortunately it won't work with the cabriolet without modifications (cutting about an inch from the stands.)
I am quite familiar with the ruf kit as my friend has a full ruf conversion on his coupe which he did years ago. The wing is cool because it has a functional ram air intake like the gt3r but better
