Hi all, New to the board a few months ago. I've resisted posting pictures because my car has been in for a lot of mod's. Finally got out yesterday with a good friend of mine who took a ton of pictures. Here's the first one he sent me. I'll post more pic's and details later. Enjoy! http://forums.rennlist.com/upload/img_2970.jpg

My friend took ~1000 pictures yesterday. He's going thru picking out the real winners. Here's one more he sent me. A guy he works with rents a room at this mansion that's right on the beach. The owner was nice enough to let us on the property to take pictures. This place is unreal. More to follow from here I'm sure. https://rennlist.com/forums/attachme...1&d=1190080106

Thanks for the compliments. I see you're in New City. I'm in CT. I'm sure we can meet somewhere along the way.
One more from a different location https://rennlist.com/forums/attachme...1&d=1190084430

Here's the link to their web site. http://www.zeforged.com/friction.html
Beautiful car. Given the number of Porsches around Fairfield county CT, I have only seen 5 aeros and that includes two 997GT3 and one 997S. I have only seen two other 996 aeros.

O.K. how about next Sunday?
I am away in canada this up coming week but should be back on Thu. PM me.
Wow, that is a really good picture. Magazine / poster quality. Mods look excellent.
Very nice! However, I am not "feeling" the red trim on the front bumper. I am guessing that you did it to compliment the red calipers, but I think it "detracts" rather than "adds" to the look. I am not trying to be critical, just offering an opinion. Your car looks GREAT!
The red front bumper trim also made the hood emblem "pop" too.
Quotes source post: 4593872
There's also red trim around the roof spoiler, wing and mirrors. You kinda have to see the whole car to get the overall effect. A little risky but most that have seen it have commented favorably. I really like the way it turned out.

Thanks for the compliments. My friend who took the pictures said he will pick out the final shots by this weekend. I'll post a bunch more then.

The scale of this picture makes the car look like a model.
damn... I just noticed this car is a NB. With all the mods on there, I thought this was a WB. Nice!!! or did he take off the red strip off the rear?
I will admit this is one of the best looking silver NB's I have seen online. Seeing all cars in person really helps out because usually photos do not do the car justice. The red accents are a little interesting, adds a third colour to the mix which personally I tend not to like, simple 2 colour combo's I like (not counting wheel lips that is because they usually are polished), but again it seems to work here. BTW ... where are you?
Fly, Very tastefully executed mods. I love the Techart kit and the color combination. enjoy it

hey bud how was fitment on the replica techart parts? pricing? i heard it was pretty bad thus i stepped aside. also, how is the "new" gt2 misha wing diff than the "old?" you need some better wheels tho.
Quotes source post: 4595603
The Precision Porsche parts fit great and very little prep was needed before paint. I would highly recommend them. Their products offer good-excellent value plus they met their shipment commitments, which had short turnaround times....The newer Misha wing has a more refined, "sharper/sleeker/aggressive" design....the end of the wing looks less GT2 and more like an improved second generation design...I love the way the wheels look and what's really nice is they let you do a custom center cap. The Porsche logo center cap came out perfect and really grabs peoples attention. I also like that they are lesser known, more unique which is what I wanted...
Hot car!!
Quotes source post: 4596325
How much did the wheels cost you and what are the specs on it? Just curious. Could you post up some pics of the rear wing? I have the "old" version and would like to see if I like the new version better. Thx!
looks slammin........ love the overall look.... great job
Quotes source post: 4598050
Wheels are 3 piece forged. front 18 8.5 Rear 18 10.5 (3" lip) I forget the offsets but they had to redo the rears and now they fit nice and aggressive all the way around. The wheels are heavy at ~27lbs but I liked the style so I went with them. I did feel a marked difference (loss) in performance when I switched these from the Porsche Lightweights. For me this car is more "show" than "go" so I'm not overly bothered by the performance hit of the extra unsprung weight. I'd rather not comment on what I paid but list price was ~$3,400 shipped. As for pictures of the wing; my friend who took the pictures should have a bunch of additional photos ready for posting in a few days. Here's the one picture I have that includes the wing. https://rennlist.com/forums/attachme...1&d=1190422815

That is one of the hottest NB I have seen! Love that look! Great job!
Very Nice!!
Fly Car looks awesome. Are those the spanish style houses at Milford beach? My fiance has a relative that lives on the water down the beach from a group of houses that looks like that.
Thanks for resurrecting this thread, hadn't seen these pics before. Good job, very nice.
Fantastic pictures As good as a NB gets, best one I have seen so far. Love the black touches on it. IMO the wheels center caps would look better in black. This is a very minor thing here and just my taste.
Quotes source post: 5043165
Not a prob. Saw the car on another post and had to track it down. LOL!!! Its sweet!
Your car looks great!!
VERY WELL DONE, AMIGO - WHAT TYPE OF BUMPER IS THAT ? VERY ATTRACTIVE...
I'm not trying to do a Ben here, BUT I appreciate all the mods, but that style/type of front bumper has never done it for me. I don't want to criticize a fellow Rennlister's car, but that is just overdone for me. I love the stock C4S/Turbo front end. This one is too aggressive looking. But really, I'm nit picking. All the rest of the mods look/sound great.
Quotes source post: 5048619
LOL! Thats great! The way you started your post. LOL!!! Ben is for sure a critic. Reminds me of Simon Cowell. LOL!!! He does have good taste in cars. PS My guns are bigger. LOL!!
Sexy and Gorgeous ride! Good job on the mods!
