Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Don't know how I've never noticed this before during my washes, but today when waxing I found this device midst the grill under the passenger headlight. Looks like two wires capped with a plastic pointed case. It was hanging freely, but there is a circular tube built into the grill that seemed natural for it to slide into. It didn't 'click' in or anything, and the wires are still exposed. Can anyone confirm this is the way it's supposed to look? And what is it? Thanks

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Also, there is only this one, the driver side doesn't have this piece at all.

Have you been a bad boy? That is a receiver for a combination tracking device and explosive unit from the NSA. It is also rocket propelled, and can be remotely controlled to blow up that lane hog occupying the left Porsche lane. Actually, it's just the external temp sensor

POST 4Original post

Obviously you have a male Porsche. Congrats on locating the elusive gender marker of the breed!

POST 5Original post

Have you been playin' with your Porsche's thingie? They have websites to warn the rest of us about guys like you

POST 6Original post

how do you think your computer can tell the outside temp?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys...that's what I was hoping it was, but feared it might have been a top secret government tracking mechanism...

POST 8Original post

That's an absurd thought. Our government would never spy on its own citizens.
