For 2002-03 was there a factory option for an in-dash combo CD and cassette radio? Or were the options only CR-220 (cassette only) and CDR-220 (CD only)? The only options I seem to be able to find to listen to CDs and cassettes is either a remote CD changer or aftermarket radio. Thanks.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

No. It's either one or the other. If you want cassette and cd, you'll need to get a changer and an in dash cassette which only available in 99-02. 03+ came with in dash cd as standard. It's almost on MOST bus so you won't be able to swap out with a cassette. The real question is, why do you listen to cassette?
Books on tape from the public library.
They don't have the same books but on CDs?
walkman with FM transmitter
book on cd will take care of it! actually, that's a good reason to keep the cr220 deck which i have.
It may be a pain, but you can hook up your tape player to your computer and transfer the info from tape to computer and from computer to CD.
