I have Fabspeed mufflers on my 996 & love the raw flat six sound, but when I hear 997s with GMG ceramic coated bypass or other awesome setups of that sort with a cup car style sound, I realize my car doesn't sound good ENOUGH, lol... So I'm wondering, has anyone tried the PSE hack in any of the many versions there is on aftermarket mufflers of any brand (although preferably Fabspeed)?? I'm thinking of trying it this week, but would like some input on previous experiences & what the results were. If it hasen't been done, I'd like a knowledgable opinion on why it would or wouldn't improve the sound... I know, I'm crazy, but it's worth a try Thanks, Raphael

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. I don't think you need to hack an aftermarket muffler; they've already done it for you. Sounds like your remaining options for increased "cup car style" sound volume are - bypass pipes - headers - cat delete - high flow cat pipe I really like my Fabspeed X-Cat Pipe with stock headers and PSE.
Contact FisterD...he has hacked fabspeeds, and it sounds good.
I have hacked PSE, Evo headers, and 200-cell Cargraphic cats. It's not enough. It never is. I don't want to go no-cats or bypass mufflers since I don't want to lose any *more* tq than I already have. I have issues. Don't we all?
