Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am thinking about installing heating elements in the front seats of my 04 C2. It seems fairly straight forward, but i am concerned that there may be sensors for the side air bags in the seat bottoms. Is this the case ?

POST 2Original post

I don't think so but ask Lorne on Renntech. He will know for sure.

POST 3Original post

Hey! Let me know how this works out.I want to do this, but have never thought it was going to be easy.

POST 4Original post

Ask and you shall recieve!! check out Dennisvogel.com and look at his blog/info on putting heated seats in his boxster. Great instructions, pictures, etc. This is what I used to put heat in the seats of my 2000 C4, just a few mods to make it work for a 996. Let me know if you have any questions. No sensors in the seats.
