Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone notice that he is no longer a registered user on eBay? Looks like he finally got pinched for shill bidding with those private auctions, is my guess.

POST 2Original post

I saw an auction of his this past Friday (rear center console-arctic silver). However, I think you're right....I just searched ebay for the auctions I know he had up, and they're gone. I hope no one got burned again. Ding Dong, The Witch Is Dead!!!

POST 3Original post

Talking of past active members, what ever happened to Bobs Porsche?????

POST 4Original post

Thank you Ebay-- Now I can let the kids out to play again!

POST 5Original post

You know he will just come back with ANOTHER userID like he has in the past. He has like 10 names he uses. But it will be obvious.....his will be the plethora of painting items that claim to be NEW and Porsche OEM. Not! Just sad that it took this long.

POST 6Original post

Hmm, didn't realize his stuff wasn't legit. I was looking at some of those parts...good thing I saw this post first.

POST 7Original post

Just for kicks, I searched for ruf_gt2, which was another alias of his...... NO LONG REGISTERED!!!!!

POST 8Original post

2 alias' down 8 to go! And so the plot thickens

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Holy Crap! He was Ruf_GT2! I sold HIM some of my used parts a few months back, as he said he was using them to do carbon fiber! DAMN!

POST 10Original post

I've seen the auctions and there's no way I'd bid on a closed auction like that. If I can't see past feedback, get a shipping quote and get a 'nice warm fuzzy feeling' from the auction, I won't even bid. I want to say thee C5 Corvette board I was on before had a guy who sounds a great deal like him. I have no problems buying repainted parts that aren't new, but at least be honest in the auction. BTW, had a great experience with KY_soldier, thanks for the CDR-220, its much needed as mine is ready to join that great big junk electronics shelf in the sky. Also the next time you're in Austin, give me a call. Richard

POST 11Original post

Good, I hope he never comes back (wishful thinking). Although the silver center console I bought from him looks like it was painted in his dirty garage with spraypaint, it looks alright from over 2 feet away. And it gives me the opportunity to send my original to Eric at BPs for the Seal Grey treatment one of these days.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

could this be? Xcessive motorsports? you be the judge, click here to see this one!

POST 13Original post

Don't know - this one does not have "private feedback"

POST 14Original post

also states shipping charges and location-NYC. I don't think it's do do head.

POST 15Original post

I'd be curious about the "Certified Porsche body shop" part. Also that account is less than a month old. Hmm, and a great deal of the info in the auction reads like some of the previous accounts I've seen, even though its an open auction and has shipping info. Richard

POST 16Original post

we should watch the auction and see how it ends.
