I'm considering having this done to my early-production 2005 997 and noticed that LN Engineering has more than one vendor in this area. Considering that I think more 996 owners have taken this step than 997 owners, I've posted in both forums. If anyone has had this done in South Florida, I'd appreciate knowing which shop you used.
