Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Can anyone shed any ight on the reliabilty of a remanufactured engine??In these engines do they address what made the original engines go in the first place??In short will i potentially have the same issues??

Please do search....this is a regularly discussed topic.

POST 4Original post

Yea I have one too. 2004 C4S replaced at 8,000 now have 72000 and trouble free - KNOCK WOOD!

POST 6Original post

You'll find this is a topic with many 'experts', many 'opinions', little 'factual content', and a large number of people who simply don't want to talk about it, other than to dismiss it. Based on last time.... '97 2nd engine did 20000+ miles before I sold it '99 2nd engine with 80,000+ miles on the clock - still going strong
