Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey all you dallas rennlisters, time for a d/fw get together! there's lots of us out there and i've received lots of interest from some of the guys, so post here for ideas and times you'd be interested. hopefully either sometime late this month or early february...so let's get plannin!

POST 2Original post

Hooters is always interesting. There is also BoneDaddy's and a burger bar next to bone daddy's that has bikini Tuesday's or something like that. Basically, chicks, cars, beers, sounds good to me but what do I know..............

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey sounds good to me. where in dallas are you located and which hooters/bone daddy's are you referring to?

POST 4Original post

Hooters is in Plano off 75. Bone Daddy's is in Richardson at 75 and 635. I'm North of Dallas near Plano.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hmm looks like bone daddy's is the best place to have it as it's right at 635 and 75.

POST 6Original post

How about something more centrally located for those of us that are a little farther west?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

sure i'm up for it. what did you have in mind bailey?

POST 8Original post

If i were to leave Now....I might make it, have fun guys wish i could make the trek

POST 9Original post

you could always take over the eatzi's parking lot. close to the tollway, 75 and 35. plus, there are plenty of options for an after sandwich drive. i'm in!

POST 10Original post

How about someplace in Las Colinas? Relatively central so if we've got anyone from Fort Worth that wants to come over and join us they wouldn't have to drive to North Dallas and those from Plano/Allen/McKinney aren't being left with a trek too far to the west. I'm open to suggestions on locations? There is also the Hooters just north of downtown Dallas. Thats another option thats should be pretty easy for everyone to get to. Then if no one from Fort Worth wants to come, I'd suggest someplace in Addison. Isn't there a Hooters up there as well on Beltline?

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey guys looks like it's going to be the 29th...how does the hooters in Arlington sound?

POST 13Original post

This morning, KRLD (1080 AM) reported the Hooter's in Arlington couldn't get a license to serve beer. If that's the case (I consider KRLD to be a credible source), then we might want to consider another place. The Viper's club and an informal BMW group meet at Pappas BBQ on NW Hwy.... not as centrally located as Arlington for those coming from Ft. Worth, but they have a great layout. They have awnings over the parking spaces so you can hang-out outside and oogle the other cars even if it's raining. The beers cold and the food isn't bad. My $0.02

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey everyone...looks like everyone pretty much agreed on this... Hooters South Arlington Address: 5821 Interstate 20 W, Arlington, TX 76017 Phone: [phone removed] I20 exit Green oaks, on Northwest side of hwy. Sat, Jan 29th @ 11:30-ish Lunch/oogling, car oogling, tech session, drive to ?,

POST 15Original post

Has anyone invited our brethren from the other forums? (993, Boxter, GT2/GT3, etc.) to the gathering?

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey i'm one step ahead of ya buddy. i posted in all the major forums the first day

POST 17Original post

Is the Hooters we're meeting at the restaurant that doesn't serve beer?

POST 18Original post

Is the meet still on? Hooters in Arlington? (ps... not much parking, I work up the street) Some one suggested Los Colinas - How about "Cool River" on McAuthur & hidden ridge. lots of parking. Or Champs on 114 I can get some PPBB boxsters there if ya like bob 03 C2 03 986 04 Cayenne

POST 19Original post

We should plan an alternate meet in Addison off the tollway. That's a central location. Sorry, but I can't make an Arlington drive on the 29th. That's more than an hour away......................... For those interested, how about the Flying Saucer off beltline and the tollroad? They serve over 100 different types of beer. Also, make it in the PM. Just my thoughts and nobody has to agree................

POST 20Original post

I'm game; name the place and time (and directions...) bob

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There are TWO Hooters (appropriately) in Arlington. It has been decided that we're meeting at the one at I20 and Green Oaks. Don't end up at the one on Collins by mistake.
