Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Ill be doing this project on sat, i plan on taking pics, I think its pretty strait forward and hove done it on a 2 previous cars.(not p-Cars)
i believe you can just take your gauge cluster apart and put the coloured sheets on top of your current numbers.
Be VERY careful. I did this many times (only wanted to do it once). When you take off the needles be careful........and even more when putting them back in place. If they fall limp then you have knocked the spindle off its posts on the inside of the little motor. I did this on 2 of mine. And to fix it I had to dis-assemble the little motor to put it back together. This in itself is tricky. The motor has a back on it that is secured by two plastic tabs that need to be clipped off. Then the back will lift off. Don't pry, you may knick the copper wires on the motor inside........ask me how I know. Just my .02. All in all I had my cluster apart 4 times or more.
I've never done this, but check out RennTech.org They have some excellent photos. http://www.renntech.org
Tim, sounds like something I don't want to do!
