Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Years ago, I bought a brand new 1974 911. The dealer sent a guy up to the docks to pick up the car. In those days dealers here in NJ often did that. I know the car came straight from the dock to the dealership. I was there when the car came in. 4 years later the clear coat cracked on top and I had the whole car stripped down and repainted. When they stripped it, they found out that the door had been damaged and repaired. Neither the dealer nor I ever knew. Of course it never bothered me not knowing. So I imagine if they fix it right, they may not tell.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
