It was great to see everyone this morning Carolinas Region hosted a fantastic drive today that started this morning in Raleigh, ran through parts of NC and VA, and ended up at a great BBQ place in Roxboro, NC. 11 Porsches made the drive on some twisting country roads and beautiful scenery - all in perfect weather. Thanks, Martin and Jeff for making this event possible. Martin, we'll see you in January - stay in touch while you're away. FYI - I've included a link to some pictures of the day, although there were some live-action photos taken by other participants that I can't wait to see. Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Great pix, Bob, as usual! I'd like to add my thanks to Martin and Jeff for putting this together and to everyone who participated to make it a fun drive and lunch. I have added a few pix here: http://picasaweb.google.com/mstupp/BBQFunRunOct2008# In addition, I recently bought my first video camera and am fooling around with it. I managed to put together 7 minutes of video although the quality is not very good. I do not yet have an in-car camera mount that works well so between some choppiness, focus adjustments and accidentally bumping the zoom lever a few times, my hand-held video has some rough spots. A few sections aren't too bad so hopefully some of it is worth a look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQG053sGBPs Michael
