Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I remember seeing a post showing the different shifter adjustment tools that Porsche offers including part numbers. They were plastic attachments of different colors, depending on part number. Does anyone know were that post is or can someone repost (hopefully with pictures) the part numbers for these plastic tools. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

Don't have a picture but tool I have is green, p/n is 997 424 383 01. Perhaps it is for 997 car, worked ok on my 996 and I have noticed improvements but shifting to second gear is still not perfect.

POST 3Original post

996.424.395.03 "adjustment bridge", I believe is white, number from 996 Cup car PET.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
