Ok. SO I've doen the search on here and Rntech.org and the other 2 BBS' and have found no post to answer this specific question: When I put my hardtop on, and follow the instructions from the manual, and tighten down the scres in the back, there is still about 5/8 of an inch gap on the inside between the top and the rear inside deck. I have read all of the TSB's on creaks and rattles but I couldn't find anything speaking specifically to this. Do anyone of my Cab brothers or sisters out there have any comments, suggestions or confirmations? Is an inside gap of this size normal? There is no rattle, even at plus 80 speeds. Thanks in advance!!!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If I am not mistaken this is normal. My CAB hardtop sits about 1/2 away from the body all the way around but the seals just inside the lip all make good contact (and seal). As well, absolutely no wind noise. I am very happy with it. FYO, mine is a MY00CAB
Thanks for the insight. How about the gap on the inside of your car? I know some gap on the outside is normal but how about on the inside...how big is your gap?
All normal
Not sure until I put it back on for the winter. sorry about that.
Normal. Don't worry about a thing. Now if you go do some crazy pressure washing on the gap from outside, look out! No, it's fine, and supposed to appear like that.
Thanks guys! You all rock! Now my next question is: is it normal when I am taking a corner for my inside wheels to come off the gorund? My car angles about 45 degrees when I take turns, especially when ther are cars behind me with blue and red lights and helicopters overhead. Evertime I drive, I seem to get all of this company with me. Anyone else?
yep its supposed to be like that... as for the second question ... heheh.. that could be considered normal
