I have a '99 996 with the HiFi package. I spent yesterday installing a new head unit (Alpine CDA-9833) and Ipod controller (KCA-420i). When I removed the old head unit, I noticed that there were two wires that weren't connected -- I think one is yellow/black and the other is blue/pink. Does anyone know what these two wires are for? The stereo and Ipod controller work fine without the two wires, but I would still like to know.
