So before buying my car I mentioned that the tires needed replacing and I was told that they (the dealer) would swap them out with another car on the lot OR get me a great deal at cost on new tires. Just a verbal agreement...nothing in writing. 6 weeks later and NUMEROUS phone calls and dealer visits and nothing has happened. The only thing I haven't done is go to the GM and talk with him. The GSM has NEVER returned a phone call and that pisses me off. Then last weekend I was taking the wheels off to finally clean them on the inside and noticed that one of my rear wheels was cracked and that one of my front tires had a PLUG in it!! The front tire has a slow leak now too. This car was certified. I can not believe that Porsche would approve of this car being certified with these issues. Will calling Porsche get me anywhere? Any adivice or suggestion? If I go into the dealership again, I will lose my temper and go off. I don't want that to happen.

A friend of mine got a yellow S2000 from Honda about a year ago. There were areas on his bumper the paint keeps peeling and the dealer refuse to do anything about it other the paint it over and over and over. He wrote Honda and got ignored, kept going up in the food chain till he was writing a very serious complaint letter to the CEO of Honda America. 10000 miles after he bought the car. HE GOT A BRAND NEW ONE. I am not saying you should get a New car, But Porsche should at least take care of the tires. Peter Liao
