Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just picked up my first ever Porsche (A 2004 40th anniversary model that I'd been watching for a while) this evening and said good bye to a subaru STI at the same time. A found this board a few months ago and found the information to be very helpful in my search. I'll miss my STI during the Montreal winter months - but this car should be even more fun on the track! I'm looking forward to many more posts. Best Rgds, Bryan

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Bob, i'm joining for sure. I spent the last 2 seasons doing events with NER and have attended both of your events this season (although i had a set of bad bearings cut my day short in September). I've heard nothing but good things about the Rennesport events though, I cannot wait until next season. Best, Bryan

POST 7Original post

Bryan, that's great. Look forward to seeing you at the track! As usual we'll start with ground school in May and there will be 5 x 3 day events at Le Circuit. There are a LOT of Porsche fanatics in Montreal - monthly club dinners - outings, and track (natch). I guess I know you from private days <grin> Best,

POST 8Original post

Congrats on the new ride. Great overall package on the 40th, and probably was a great deal too. Be safe.

POST 9Original post

Congrats on the 40th! Beautiful car. My first 3 mods were joining PCA, Renntech.org, and of course RENNLIST!!! I have been never regretted it. Met some great people here on the boards and always found the best deals b/c of the members here! PICS!!!!!!!!

POST 11Original post

Welcome to the P-car world! Don't forget to enjoy it (hard), and keep the shiny side up!

POST 14Original post

Congrats! I picked up my 40th Anny car a couple months ago - my 4th 911 and by far the best. Enjoy.

POST 15Original post

Congrats. I picked up my 40th last year and my only regret is that I was dumb enough to let her sit inside the garage all winter long.....this fall I'll slap on winter tire and ejoy her. You'll enjoy the car immensely....just put on a proper exhaust so that you can actuall hear the wounderfull engine properly. Congrats again but watch out for these carzy Montrela drivers. Go Habs Go. Marc (Formely from Mtl)

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Pictures from my first road trip with the car to Toronto this past weekend. I still can't get over how great this car is for long distances. A huge improvement over my last car.

POST 21Original post

That's funny. I picked my first pcar up from the dealer, and drove straight to Montreal, from the dealer. Great trip until the hotel in Montreal scratched my front fender. I was told you HAD to valet your car, as their insurance wouldn't cover self parkers. I started to make a stink, then I realized I was staying in their largest room, for smallest room prices... Welcome to Porsche ownership. Drive and enjoy. Its a very nice looking car. I only wish the anniversary edition came in a C4 variant.

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey Chris, Where in Montreal did you stay?
