They have to jack it up to get the floor lift under it at the shop! X74 is fun!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

We drive my car onto the alignment rack, as the regular lifts don't fit under my car.
You know your car is low when you have to drive on pieces of wood so you can fit the floor jack underneath and jack it in order to fit the floor lift.

thats me.............
I finally tired of the blocks of wood and popped for the low profile jack.....
When SUVs are always merging into your lane b/c they don't see you.
Do your low cars also bottom out on big speed bumps? I used to hate that with my sweet old Passat wagon that was on H&R/Bilsteins. "I don't know who invented speed bumps, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't German."
Or you need two jacks. One low profile for your lowered car and one regular for your others since the low profile won't jack high enough!

Mine doesn't because I drive like a granny over them. The people following hate me.

This one hit home. My A4 with the winter tires on it won't clear the bigger speed bumps. With the 19's it's usually ok but as soon as you loose that 1/2' by going to the winters speed bumps suddenly become a problem. Andy
