Monday the wife had an appointment at the german consulate in atlanta georgia. I decided to take our 01 996 for the trip down from clarksville tennessee. Since taking ownership in may 2011 the only driving has been infrequent short drives around town so this was a good opportunity to put her through her paces. Boy did she deliver, so comfortable, smooth and gobs of power to accelerate at will around traffic. Absolutely the most fun I've (we've) had traveling. Solid dependable I love my car even more now. Porsche got it right there is no substitute! Have a few pics I will post.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Nice. Feels great to put on a few hundred miles as opposed to a 13 mile drive. Your Porsche looks very sharp. How many miles do you have?
Thanks, just turned over 114k
I'll bet your car hasn't lost a step. Your experience of the cars comfort and solidity is the same one I have at 45000.
