It looks like all Porsche models sales have improved with the exception of the Boxster. I thought C4S sales were hurting until I included the C4S Cabriolet numbers. I wonder how much profit Porsche had to surrender to get those numbers. We know about the $10K factory reduction for Anniversary cars, but I'm wondering if Porsche had any Cayenne incentives. Also, based on these sales figures, I wouldn't be surprised if Porsche offered some incentives on Boxsters before too long.
The Porsche AG news release of Jul 1st for the first 10 months of the business fiscal year (Aug 03 thru May 94) indicates Worldwide sales of the 911 and Boxster are down 19.9 and 34.3 percent respectively, continuing the slide of the previous business year. The "...Path to Another Record Year" is clearly strewn with "Cayenne Rosepetals" and the hope of a successful 997 introduction. Perry (42 Years of Porsche Ownership)
