Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

7 bottles of pantosin @ 13$ a bottle...Check. rethinking my having the over flow cap on wrong the other night and spewing 100$ of antifreeze all over the driveway and street. Pantosin bottle says "do not mix with other antifreeze." Kyle thinks: Hmmmmm,,,, stuff in car is green, this stuff is red. I drained 3 gallon out and it was pretty watered down, That leaves 2 gal still in the front of the car. Should I just dump in the red? Hmmmmm choices, choices.... the stuff that is in there is less than 50/50.... way less. Maybe? Hmmmm what to do..... Ahhh the hell with it, The wife is already mad at me. No reason to go in now. I have all night. to spend with the car that is not going to bitch at me. Consult manual to see how to get the rest of it out of the car I guess. damn it.. Outta beer.....

POST 2Original post

Damn... I wished I lived closer to you - for the sheer entertainment value of being near Kyle... No one here works on their 996s....

POST 3Original post

I would buy beer, watch him get "funny" and then next week we could fix what he "fixed" this week

POST 5Original post

You know what I am going to do? Ya wanna know... I am going to find the guy that wrote this manual and I am going to tell him there is a big party at my house with hot easy chics, free beer and a new porsche as a door prize... Then I am going to send him a picture of my house and say "the party is here", see ya tomorrow..... Any one?

I've got more beer, I'll loan you a couple.... What's the joke.... You know you're in love, when you forget about your car for a couple days..... I guess the converse is when you're married, and you sleep in the garage with your car, ha.

That looks to be under the tunnel. The fuel filter is in the background. Pull the belly pans. Make sure the torpedo has a working CO detector. Don't want to sleep forever.

POST 15Original post

+1 for under the car... I pulled the front cover and dont recall seing that, but it was wet, raining and dark....I was in a hurry to put more parts on the car so I could give them away

You are lucky you're working on your car. I am getting worked by a 16YO know it all girl over the time to be home after the prom. Well, here's what the $35/gal bottle looks like. From what I have read, the key is the G-30 spec. But I have read that maybe upping the game to a G-40 might be better.
