Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know this is off topic, but I just had to post this. For the past 15 months we have been making two mortgage payments. After 18 months of trying to sell the North Carolina house, it finally happened! WE CLOSED ON THE HOUSE TODAY, SO IT IS OFFICIALLY SOLD!!!

POST 2Original post

Congrats! I hope the Honda is next! Time to get a P-car!!

POST 3Original post

Hey Tim Congrats on the sale!! Years ago I had to carry 2 mortgages for 5 months and I know it sure isn't easy or comforting!! Hope this leads to another 9?? sooner than later!! Pete

Thanks! I need to get a permanent job first (I have been doing consulting work for the last 18 weeks). Maybe some day I can get another P-car!

POST 5Original post

Some guys picked up a nice 944 for $250... : http://xsboost90.wordpress.com/ Congrats on moving the house!!

POST 6Original post

Congrats on selling the house Tim. Step in the right direction. Did you have to go below the asking price?

POST 8Original post

Congrats Tim, although, I was hoping you'd move back to NC.

POST 10Original post

Congrats .... I too am still looking for work. It is now time to sell my 911 and house.

POST 14Original post

It's tough selling a house almost anywhere these days. I finally sold my house (also in NC) after almost a year on the market. It sold for $60,000 less than I paid for it in 2004 but at least it's gone!

POST 15Original post

Must be a relief congrats Tim what cinched the sale did you have to throw in the honda?

POST 18Original post

+1... glad you're still standing.

POST 19Original post

Jeez, Tim. I sell my car and you go and sell your house. You're so damn competitive!! Congrats (really)!! Only going to get better from here. Wonderful news!

Which asking price? The initial asking price or the 8th revised price? We ended up selling it for $11K less than we paid for it 7 years ago. The buyer got a hell of a deal!

It is a great relief! I tried to throw in the Honda as part of the sale, but their offer was too low. When I removed the Honda as part of the sale, their offer jumped up $20K! I guess they put the same "value" on the Honda as I do!

The only problem is that you got more for your car than I got for my house!

Yeah, but just barely.

POST 24Original post

WOW - what a relief I am sure there is a big smile on your face that sort of compares to having a new Porsche in the garage - funny how good it can feel - enjoy your new, lighter shoulders !!

POST 28Original post

congrats on the good news, tim. hope that p car will be back soon.

POST 29Original post

Congrats. I am VERY jealous. That must be a great feeling. I have 2 that I would love to give away for what I paid. Uggh. Oh, and my wife never reminds me of how I screwed up. Right.

POST 30Original post

Bet that's a large monkey off your back! Congrats Tim. Good luck on the job front, this economy WILL be getting better!

POST 31Original post

Congrats, congrats, congrats!!! Fabulous news and one gorilla out of the room!!

POST 32Original post

Tim congrats, I am sure you can sleep better at night and breath a bit better. BTW...what parts of NC?

POST 33Original post

Glad to hear of your success if finally selling that house! Now if you can just find a permanent job, things will really brighten up.

Very happy for you Tim. Maybe the permanent job will happen next....then another Porsche. My wife and I flew into Charlotte last Tues. and then on to Beech Mountain to visit my parents. They say (like most places) that the market is very flat there too.Glad some of your pressure is dissipating.GL
