I went up to a remote Napa Valley winery this weekend and had to pull over on a narrow dirt road for descending traffic. The 996 kicked up an *enormous* amount of dust under the *front* end on this unpaved road. I thought this was the HVAC system, so I turned it off, but the dust still kept coming up. Clouds of it. Can someone tell me what this blower/fan is? I repeat: it's in the front, not the rear. ??????

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
