So my engine is fine....I guess it made it into 2009 afterall...but the new problem is that my top doesn't want to open all the way and when opening it makes jerky movements....anybody dealt with this before?? It also gives my a problem closing (the hook makes a couple of attempts and I have to guide it a bit....Had this before stealer told me they had to align the top?!? Just want to know if there is a cheap remedy before I drop a couple of bills at the stealer.

I was thinking the exact thing as Don... hydraulic fluid.
