Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone had any experience with the DANSK SPORT TAIL PIPES ? I know they are simply bolt ons, but do they alter the exhaust sound ? Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

Can't imagine they would alter the sound significantly, especially since you have fabspeed. I have the factory dual tips and think they look good...

POST 3Original post

I have the dual tips also (see my avatar), and I really like them!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just ordered them, They will be here tomorrow, I will install and photo... Thanks again guys

POST 6Original post

Zero effect on sound, effect on wallet, moderate.

POST 7Original post

I am a dual tipper too..no sound difference but look sick!

POST 8Original post

@leedav - Dansk means Danish (not the stuff you can eat, but the country/language)

POST 9Original post

Thanks ice. I knew that...was wondering whether he stayed with the Dansk or went with the factory dual tips. Now..you must introduce yourself!

POST 10Original post

What he said... PLUS, you have to post PICs! We LIKE Pics!

POST 11Original post

Ouch :-) Introduction - hehe. Been quietly reading up here for a few month now without posting - yet. 33 year old Dane - owning a 944 from 86. Pic is hopefully attached below I'm getting myself my first 996 in 2-3 weeks time. Looking for a dark blue C2 or C4 with beige leather, PSE and all the other nice things. Cant wait. I'll properly introduce myself once I get my 996. OK? ;-)

POST 12Original post

RJM, I have the non-turbo 996 Dansk tips on my '99. Maybe it's just me, or maybe I'm hearing what I want to hear, but they seem to sound different from the factory tips. I love the rolled lip of the Dansk tips, as compared to the Tequipment ovals. Not that it matters the same to everyone, but they cost much less too. One thing though, the Dansk tips are squared-cut, not angled like the factory tips, so they don't align flush with the lower rear bumpers (viewed from the top) when installed. I suppose that's why they give the car a "sportier" look.

Thanks Ucube, Good Insight - I will post once I have them installed.
