Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello to all, Being extremely new, I have searched many places for the right answer and received conflicting reports including from my porsche dealership. I have a bone stock 2003 996 C2. I really like the "turbo look" front bumper. What and where can I get one to put / fit on my car? I thought the 40th anny. is a good example of a bumper that fits on the narrow body cars. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

POST 2Original post

actually, you can put on a normal turbo front bumper, that is what is on the 40th, the fronts of both cars are the same, it is the rear where it diverges to wider turbo body. They are frequently on ebay at very good prices. Welcome, and let's see the car,

POST 3Original post

do it right and get the proper vents (avoid the mesh)

POST 4Original post

Noticed a nice one for sale on 6speed, complete with all grills. I was tempted myself but I want to do the GT3/Aerokit II Bumper

POST 5Original post

Be aware that it's just not the bumper cover. You need new vent guides, fender liners, inner supports, plus a few other misc parts. I looked at it and figured with paint I was looking at $1500 min if I got the bumper cheap & had to buy the other parts new. Plus if oyu put on that cover you have to put on sideskirts...etc..etc
