Just wanted to pass along what a great experience I had with the company Durametric, who make diagnostic software for our cars. They were helpful and informative and ready to serve. It was so refreshing, I wanted to let you all know.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Uhmmm.... how about www.durametric.com
What were you able to do with it beyond reading codes?
Dang Tim You are smart...
I have it as well, it is a very good product. More information on the website, but it can reset the airbag fault and can also display quite a lot of real time data for diagnostics. It is designed specifically for the car. A search on Durametric will yield more details as well, but I am very happy with it.
for the price, i think it is hard to beat. only thing that is a step up from it is the actual porsche tools. its too bad that we can't do more with our ECU's like the VW guys can with their VAGCOM's
Now if it could just tell us at what mileage the engine was going to grenade, then it would be perfect!
