I was wondering is there any discounts on the 04 996 C4S Cabs/Coupe? I know the GT 40th edition is being discounted. Also the 997 will be coming out very soon will that be a factor? I am interested in trading my 03 Boxster S for a 996 C4S. I need the 4 wheel drive here in NYC. Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As far as I know there are only dealer discounts on the the C4S. So depending upon how they are selling in your area, you may get around $5K off MSRP, but not the $17K that seems to be standard on the anniversary edition. Porsche is offering $10K off on the anniversary edition.
the only 911 that is heavily discounted is the anniverary addition, incidentally, you may be able to get up to 5~k off any of the other models, excluding the C4S, Turbo, GT2/3. this is interesting because the 911 Anniversary (with exception to its bling bling wheels) is perhaps one of the best values in Porsche's entire range. and can be had for the low-mid 70s (for a car that is stickered at about 90) private message me yipster if you are REALLY interested, i will refer you to a dealer in the New york area that is willing to DEAL for people i refer to them
