Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a small ding in the roof panel. Been there since I bought the car. Looks like what hail would do but iti is only one. Has any one had any experience/sucess with one of these http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...CAT453_pg3.htm The "paintless" removal guys would have to drop the headliner.

POST 3Original post

wouldn't try it myself...there are shop specialized in it....I have to go to one sometime, because I have a couple of dents in my CAB cover plate (the one behind the seats, that opens before the cab goes up/or down)....I have seen a paintless dent removal shop...let's see wha they charge and how good they are.

POST 4Original post

I had a guy take 5 or 6 dings out of my BMW. I gotta say, it was pretty impressive watching him work. I certainly wouldn't have tried it myself. Looks to be one of the many things where experience counts!

POST 5Original post

Hey jerler, I've used this guy in Tysons Corner a couple of times. He does really good work. Ding Depot -- http://www.dingdepot.com/DINGDEPOT2005.htm I actually need to go soon to get some door dings fixed. He charges by the panel so I wait until I get a few dings and then get them all done. Good luck.

POST 6Original post

I had over a couple of dozen, thats right, nearly 30 small dings from doors and other objects along both sides of the car. I thought it would be impossible to remove them, but for $85 the guy that does the Highline cars in town removed all of them with no hint of having ever been there. I'm a believer.
