Can a 2001 C2 accomodate 18X8.5 235s and 18X11 295s? Those are the wheel/tire sizes on the GT3 which I believe is the same body, obviously there are mechanical/performance differences. The reason I ask is that I am considering supercharging and I want more rubber on the road. I am doing suspension and brake upgrades to support the added power as well. Unfortunatley I can't make the jump to a GT3 right now for a number of reasons so I'm looking at this as the best alternative. Thanks, Kevin

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Correct, the GT3 is a narrowbody. As long as you get the GT3 wheel size (11x18 et63) you are fine with that wheel size and rubber. They also make a widebody GT3 wheel as an option on the Turbo/GT2 and the offset on those will NOT work on your car.
I don't think you'll need the wheel upgrade w a supercharger. The difference of tire size is minimal. However, if you are going for the wheel style, I think those GT3 wheels are cool. Also, consider those 19" on 997. The sport design and carerra 19" are pretty sweet.
Not sure the 997 wheel will fit. It I am not mistaken the offset kills the deal in the rear.
