Congrats, what an awesome X-mas present to yourself! Like Tim said, you don't have to leave. 996/7 are very similar anyway. In your case, the GT1 block puts you in a different league, but hey, it's not like you drive a Honda or something that would make you an outcast on the forum.
You can watch youtube commercials for it till it arrives. Maybe one of the commercials will be a car in your color Good luck with the anticipation till then.
