Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Subject to color combo and options, $65k to $75k; maybe higher at a Porsche dealer
artic silver, black interior, black top. Is $75-78 at a dealer unreasonable with extd warranty?
I would say you could get for low 70s. But...and a big but, it depends on how desperate they are to move inventory since you are buying a CAB at the WORST time of the year for buyers (summer).
If you like the car....really like it.....it is at the high end of the "reasonable" range in my opinion
Dealer here was asking 79K for a CPO car and went down to 74K. I passed. It sold 2 weeks later. They told me for full price. I see them in the 60s all the time. I think 70K is about right
Check out the link below from Edmunds/AutoTrader which shows 22 different '03 Cabs w/Tip (3 Targas slipped through the filter). Price range $66.9 - $88.2 with average of $70.4. (BTW, I am not affiliated with any of these, just a reference source for you.) http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...s=&fuel=&lang= Based upon these, I agree with the other comments that you should be looking at LOW $70's. Hope this helps!
Thanks, it looks like the low mileage C4's go for mid-high 70's though. Its the C2's that are in the high 60's or so. Am I starting to rationalize the price...? It has less than 8,000 miles, C4, with a hardtop, warranty through '08, etc
p.s. it also has the side rockers, what was the cost of that option either now or afetrmarket?
Don't you consider my Porsche.... it is in the Rennlist Classifieds, I will sell for $60,000......It was a May '02 build and the warranty runs thru May'08....MSRP was $95,000 plus....The car is Perfect! I don't want to fool with Ebay or Autotrader et.al, so I put it with the local dealer on Consignment......He will price at $65k and take 5%
Is a car with 6,000 to 8,000 fewer miles worth an additional $4,000 to $5,000? Only you can decide that. OEM rocker panels $800 new, $500 used. Still need to pay to get painted, approximately $200. You might want to check out Berkely's '02 @ $60 K. Contact him to get the particulars. It might be worth a little of your time.
Berkley, Thanks for the offer but i am looking for silver and a C4, interesting data point tho', another dealer was asking $73 for an '02 silver TIP without the hardtop and 2,000 miles. wholesale on your car is about $54 so asking 60,950 makes sense.
Interested....the Rennlist ad doesn't say but the car has the Tiptronic.....I had a Tip in a '91 964 C2 and in a 00' C4 996 Millennium Edition.....it is a great option on a Porsche...This is #15 over the last 33 years, including track cars... As I stated, I'll take $60,000 and split shipping costs up to $750.00 or 50 % for a Rennlister... I'll include the roller mounted hard top storage stand and a new Factory car cover too......The full Nat. Brown Leather is great along with the sport adaptive seats and thicker sport steering wheel....tons of usable options
