Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Came back from a day on the lake to see that my drivers side mirror is loose. I can't find any evidence of being hit, doored, etc, so I'm not sure how it happened. The vibrating is driving me nuts. Is there any way I can tighten it up? It's the entire assembly that appears to be out of place a bit. I figured out how to take the door sails off, but got stuck at the weather stripping. If anyone has schematics on how to take the side mirrors apart that would be great too... My search brought up a thread to take just the glass out, but I couldn't find anything for the entire assembly. 2000 C2 Coupe. Thanks in advance.
