Heres the deal, I'm going to be getting out of my M3 this summer and was hoping to get into any 996; c4s,c2,40th. Basically i'd be willing to put down somewhere around $12,000 to keep my payments as low as posible. What are the odds of me being in the high 500's with that much down? Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Unfortunately, the leasing laws have changed in nys, most companies wont lease at all until that law is repealed.
o really, cause i know audi and bmw still does.. Lets just say for arguments sake i could lease it ny. is there any chance i can find something to keep my payments in that range, with the downpayment?
Audi and BMW do it, but they charge more in NY. Porsche will not lease cars in NY.
I dont think it is possible with that kind of down....But you never know
Find some cars that interest you on Dupontregistry.com, or autotrader.com and enter the vehicle data and cap cost reduction on www.leasecompare.com . I used this company for my 996 lease and got a great deal. You will also find that the newer p-cars have a better residual value and therefore have more attractive monthly payments.
Prices are different here in Canada but as an example; I leased a new 03 C2 for the same monthly as i was quoted on a new M3, the difference being I had 15K in as opposed to 5K in on the BMW, both ovver 3 yrs.
With that type of money down yes you should be able to lease with a payment of $500 a month. Heck $600/month @ 6% for 60 months gives you a purchase of approximately $43K with your $12 down. Sure you aren't going to get a C4S or 40th but you said any 996.
