Well my front tires are starting to severely cup and it's probably time for a new suspension at 97,000 miles. I've ordered new tires to be installed next week (Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec) and don't want to trash them in the first 1,000 miles if I've got a bad shock or something. I'm looking at the X74 kit but it comes with new front and rear bars. I know my M030 supension has different bars than just plain stock but what's the difference between my bars and the X74 or GT3 bars? Should I just buy a set of new Bilstein HDs since I already have stiffer springs and larger bars or would the X74 kit really make a huge difference? I've always thought my suspension was quite harsh, but maybe it's just plain worn out. Thanks.

Hang in there. I'm curious about the answer to this, as well.

Try searching X74, ROW M030, GT3 sway bar, etc, in the title only, and you'll get dozens of threads. Search full threads, and you might end up with 500 or more. Some relevant info: Diameter of sway bars in mm: OEM: front: 23.1, rear: 18.5 ROW M030: front: 23.6, rear: 19.6 X74 = ROW M030 GT3 front: 26.7, rear: 20.8 [~$1000 with links] HR = front 26 mm; rear 23 mm [~$750 - no links required] A .5 mm increase (from stock to ROW) creates a ~10% increase in stiffness. And a 1.1 mm increase creates a ~25% increase. The GT3 increase (rear) is 2.3mm, and (front) is 4.6mm over stock. I think this equates to rear= 60% and stiffer and front =78% stiffer. My math could be off, and disregards thickness, but you get the idea. Also, the front sway bar may require a different drop link, but most rear sways are direct replacement. I would wager that the X74 suspension including struts, stabilizer & bushings are an engineered system in totality with respect to length, stiffness and manufactured weight. GT3 Adjustable front Swaybars are half the weight but require a Front Drop Link set. The X74 kit will lower your CG (center of gravity) 1.57" in the front struts and 1.18" in the rear struts versus your US M030 setup. Apples and Oranges.
The sway bars for the X74 kit are the same as the M030. The dampers and springs are different. The X74 will greatly improve the handling performance of your car, BUT, with the improved performance comes a much stiffer and shaper ride quality. All depends on what you want...
Thanks everyone for your responses. It helps tremendously!
I have a set of bilstein HD for sale with the row m030 springs right now.
