I would call around. Sunset, Pelican Parts, etc have these from time to time. Personally, I have boycotted them due to poor customer service. I wouldn't even buy a free car wash from them. So, I don't recommend them. But, they are a big dealership, so you shouldn't have to worry about defective products or scams. If you have no other options in the entire world, then Park Place is the way to go! -td
they will beat any price , talk to them . very good service.
Great dealer.
I've bought from Park Place several times (although many years ago) and they provided great customer service. One time they sent me the wrong size shirt and when I called to send it back for exchange they told me to keep it and give it to my wife and they would just send another. Then, they sent an "extra" in the package as well just to say sorry about the mixup. It was a Christmas gift order by the way.

Dell, Great story! If you ordered a 997 GT3 and they sent you 997S instead, do you think they would let you keep the S to give to your wife and send you two GT3's? Nah, didn't think so!
I have bought Porsche and MB stuff from them...very good to deal with.
I've bought a 996 and 997S from them plus some wheels and regular service. They are good.
For the 1st year I owned my car (2004-2005), I lived in Dallas. I bought my car in Ft. Worth but had do all of the service, DE tech inspections, install PSE, etc and I've was more than pleased every time!!! When I moved to LA, I realized how spoiled I was by Park Place's attention to detail, thoroughness, free loaners, etc. etc. etc. The parts manager's name is Randy. He's an avid PCA track guy and will bend over backwards to make things right. At least, I assume Randy is still there. As you may surmise, I have nothing but great stories to tell about PP..... other than Autobahn (in Ft. Worth) gave me a better deal on the trade of my M5 on the 40th anniversary.
