Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ooooooo, IMO a mistake. This car is awesome but goodluck.
Hey Boxsterdoc47: I've been following your saga in this forum... given that I share the same saga. To jump into what looks like a great opportunity in purchasing a 40th Anniv edition, look for a used C4S in the mid to low 70's, or wait for a base 997. In the end what was the final reason in your decision for dumping the 40th?
Fast997...thanks for your post....was going for a targa at one point but the car is a dying breed and will not be further produced after this year...great overall car for the midwest where I live is the c4s would make the best fit for me yet I will look at he 997's when they come out next month....you live in LA and it is a great city with good weather for any of the great porsche selection you could make ....i was born and raised there great place and that is where I got my first love of the porsche......the anniv was not a good fit for me even though a great car but like all "special anniv" cars they may lose their unique nature after a while......will let you know of my quest for the porsche I finally get
ps another that that bother me about the 911 anniv was it seemed all the dealers want to get the car off the lots asap and discounting is going through the roof worrysome.....
HTML Code: that bother me about the 911 anniv was it seemed all the dealers want to get the car off the lots asap and discounting is going through the roof worrysome I wouldn't conside that as a negative. PCNA has put some major $$$ incentives to dealers to sell these cars. That explains the major discounts. Dealers can't lose by giving you a great deal--this is good! That said, if you decide to opt for a 997, that makes sense too. Comparable performance and price, plus the new styling. Just fewer options.
