Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello Board....looking at the new C4S's and have wondered what discounting is out there since end of the year and 997's are out in August.....I will appreciate all your comments on this car and what is out there......

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Question for board..has anyone compared the C2S vs the C4S in winter weather with the cold ,snow or rainey weather???? thanks

POST 3Original post

I've had my 03 C4S for a year now, and absolutely love it. It gets significantly better after 6 to 7k miles on it. I've heard several times here that C4S with snow tires is great on snow, but i havn't done it yet. The discounts on C4S really depends on where you are, it varies from almost none to 8k off of MSRP, i don't think you can get a C4S for list though. Good luck!.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Update the 05's c4s are ont he lots now and the main porsche wesite already....are the dealers ready to deal????

POST 6Original post

I agree, here we have only 1 dealer, the closest one being across the pacific ocean. And even with the new 997's coming up, it's an honor to get 1% off of MSRP on the 1 or 2 996 C4S's they have left.

POST 7Original post

dont forget, C4S is a exclusive car. Porsche says its their best deal going. You get a lot in a C4S for the money. And its their most sought after car. SO their not gonna discount it much.

POST 8Original post

Some dealers are discounting the C4S Cab alot. A friend of mine recently purchased a C4S cab with a $95K MSRP for $87.1K. The color was seal grey with a few options.

POST 9Original post

Are you looking at an 04 or new 05? Cab or coupe. 04 cabs are being discounted heavily in Ohio.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

04 would be ok and probably a coupe....how is beechmont in Ohio???

POST 12Original post

Never worked with Beechmont. My dealings were in Cleveland area with Seth at Fred Baker and Greg Talani(spelling?) at Stoddard Imports. Fred Baker's service far exceeded my expectations. good luck
