Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After about 2 years on this board. It's time that I make an exit. I hope this is only a temporary thing and that I will come back someday, but who knows what the future holds in store for us all. I really want to thank everyone here for their friendship, kindness, and words of advice. This is truly one of the best online forums there is, and thats 100% because of the members! Maybe the sponsors a little too The reason I am leaving is because after 5+ months searching for a 996 Aero with some bad results, I have decided to move in another direction and buy a BMW. I ended up with a 2003 BMW M3 Coupe. Silver with black leather, 21,000 Miles, 6-speed manual, xenon's, short shift kit, harmon kardon sound, cold weather package, certified pre-owned, and maitnence garenteed until Jan of 2009. As always, pictures are below!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 4Original post

POST 5Original post

Nice M3. I sold my 2002 M3 today to widen return to Porsche. Sold my 993 for it. Big mistake.

POST 6Original post

THe M3 is a fantastic freaking car. I know most people on here have proper respect for that car as it deserves. Congratulations! Beautiful car. I am a BMW homer though. I have had 318, 330, 540, 545 and jsut last week bought the wife a 4.4 X5. Anyway they are fantastic cars, and you will love it.

POST 7Original post

Mona...congrats on the purchase...I'm sure I'll see you over on M3 forum. Roadfly is a great resource too that you should check out. You'll love the E46 M3...it's an awesome car...I won't give mine up for the world. Andy

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeh, I have been reading and posting a bit on http://www.m3forum.com/ as of late.

POST 9Original post

I have a Ground Control front swaybar for the E46 M3 in my garage. $200.

POST 10Original post

good luck and pop over to rennlist from time to time - with your M3 ADVENTURES. I do look in my crystal ball and see a P-car in your future. regards.

POST 11Original post

Nice looking car. I have often thought about getting an E46 M3, but I cannot give up my 996 for it. Good luck and see you back here soon hopefully.

POST 12Original post

Just be sure to join the BMWCCA. Roundel beats Porsche Panorama and MB Star by a long shot.

POST 13Original post

congrats and enjoy. I used to own a 2003 M3 coupe, 6spd, Laguna Seca Blue ext, black int. Awesome car, I would still have it but it was stolen. You'll love the car, but get a good alarm system. Congrats again!!!!

POST 14Original post

Sorry you never found your car but the bmw looks great! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Don't be a stranger!

POST 15Original post

Nice car mon! I looked for about 4 months for a 996 and decided to take the same plunge you did for a few years. You'll love the m3, it is a truly fantastic automobile. You can still stay here and lurk around, I do it on both boards (m3forum and here) all the time! I'll get the Porsche one day, but it will be a coupe and I'll stop pretending I can fit my kids in the backseats
