Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What the hell is wrong with me....I was a little bored at work today so I broke down and ordered new Guards red seat belts Front & Rear...ok not so bad right...No I thought now with the red in the car, the Artic silver stuff will look off, so then I ordered a WHOLE bunch of Carbon Fiber items...Vents ,Horseshoe bat wing.....I need an intervention

POST 3Original post

Red seat belts on Black in an Silver car looks DAMN HOT!!! I miss my silver car... Modding a car that is for sale now you are very sick!!!

POST 4Original post

It will look sick, nearly as sick in the head as you!

POST 5Original post

where did you get them? all i have found are 997 belts. are the belts the same for a cab?

POST 6Original post

You crack me up!!!!!!! What is that saying......idle hands is the devil's work? I think you just proved that.

POST 7Original post

The red belts look great with the aluminum interior - you should have ordered up the aluminum bits. Maybe you can have both, and switch them when you're bored... You should have ordered blue belts for the rear seats.

POST 8Original post

paul..red seatbelts r the shizzle..ask me how i know :

POST 9Original post

it seems ridiculous considering the car is being traded in i must be boring with my taste, personally i find no love for those bright seatbelts, they seem to me like those pads the ricers put on their civics and cavaliers...

POST 10Original post

That's what i need...shoulder pads! i'm tired of having the belts cut into my shoulders on 2 hr roadtrips.

POST 11Original post

I thought you were getting a 997TT. Are you keeping both cars?

POST 12Original post

You can never stop modding, can't you Paul? By looking at some samples here, it's going to look hot...

POST 13Original post

nope..what you need is a CF Dash and center console, and alcantra steeringwheel

POST 14Original post

I would agree, you are boring. And a Cavalier is not a ricer. Red belts rock.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seems the new car wont be in untill Oct , so i am having a little fun, but in all honesty I think i will keep the C2, if I do I am going to supercharge it and install some cams, and maybe head work. Its just so hard finding someone that knows how to wrench on the car in Canada...

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The front belts are the same for your car, but i am not sure about the rear. I bought them from Gert @ Carnewal. Best price and his service is great.

POST 17Original post

hey paul... you only live once! mind as well mod that baby while you still got it. You're preaching to the choir, we are all sick in the head

POST 18Original post

Sandoval, you are a lucky bastard. I love those seat belts, but better still, I LOVE YOUR SEATS. Color me envious. And to think how happy I was when driving my 996 before joining this forum. Exhaust went in yesterday. Air intake, chip and RoW suspension aren't far behind. Quick question: if I have polar silver with metropol blue interior and thought to jazz up the interior, should I consider blue or silver seat belts? Would it look strange? Damn that red looks so good. My father has them in his 996 S4 with the red deviated stitching. (Sigh of envy)......

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey nycebo, I have yet to see silver belts for our porsches. But they do have light blue ones, and maybe if you can find a set of grey ones..I think the grey would look great in your car.

POST 20Original post

Grey sounds awesome. I'll have to look into it. Thanks.

POST 21Original post

nycebo, perhaps it would be possible to dye the stock belts to match your blue, i'm not sure.
