Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I can kinda understand a dealer padded the asking price a bit so they can handle a bad trade in, but this is insane. Plus, the car looks like crap, no details, wheels are wrong, leather seat is all worn. Ugh. And, it's an Infiniti dealership. http://www.infinitiofkirkland.com/Ve...ails/373617763

POST 3Original post

They have it wrong...it's a C4S....and perfect mileage...and believe it or not...it's not super overpriced...should fetch high 40's. Not sure those are improper wheels. Some really nice options...nav, seats, steering wheel, etc.) J

POST 4Original post

Dude, this is Seattle... haven't you noticed, they are still asking ~ $25-28k for 99's with 90k miles on them and original motors??? of course when I try and sell something everyone wants it for free here.... I dont know how any businesses survive with those factors, I guess they make a TON on each when and if anyone ever buys anything my 0.02

POST 5Original post

It looks like a nice "Porch Nine Hundred and Eleven".

That cracked me up The rear wheels look like the offset is..off?

POST 7Original post

All it takes is one buyer. I sold my mint 04 GT3 before Christmas last year for a price you could have bought an 06 for. If you don't ask for it, you won't get it.

POST 8Original post

The ad clearly states the price is an Internet Special. You might get a better deal if you walked in.

POST 9Original post

I heard that Bob is driving over to see it this weekend. He plans on trading in his FORD 911 for it.

POST 10Original post

The fool doesn't even list it as a S - that's the *only* thing that would make this car worth any kind of special money.

+1 Keep my values up.

Me too. Values up and ethics down. I doubt if they'll get close to $60K for that car, though.

POST 13Original post

You have to wonder how many buy their first P-car and THEN discover resources like Rennlist. While I am happy, I also know I did not get a bargain. I wish I had hung out here for about 6 months before purchasing rather than after!

opinion is. Some non-Porsche dealers pick up Porsches at auctions and put them on the lot or in the show room as "halo" cars. And with a hefty price tag. Car might be ok but dealer's not going to go bust with the carrying charge on a used Porsche. So there's little incentive to deal on the car. Sincerely, Macster.

Of course they are...these cars are still worth $20k+, and it's not like they're going to start the price at the figure they're willing to accept.

POST 16Original post

way better deals out there.... LINKY TURBO LINKY GT3

POST 18Original post

It's nice to see some optimism still in this market.
