Does anyone on the list have the ability to search Porsche service records by VIN? I am trying to get some more information on a vehicle - I have done CarFax, but it is a non-Porsche dealer car, and I would like as much info as I can get. Please feel free to PM me or email at trevor.barcelo at gmail.com Regards, Trevor

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I don't think you can find anything in the national network other than TSBs that have been performed on the vehicle. Everything else is dealer specific. If you know where the vehicle was serviced, then you might be able to convice the service manager to provide you with copies of the service records, but they aren't required to do so. When I bought my 996, as asked the owner to get me copies from the dealership, and he agreed.
Hi Dennis, That makes sense, thank you. Regards, Trevor
You are on a worthless hunt unless you have the previous owner do it for you. I went to the dealer and all they will print for you is the same info suncoast will do. The guy could only pull up warranty work done on the car, and would not print any of the screens. The dealers as he told me are not yet connected and cannot search any service records or anything out of warranty. So knowing the previous, or all previous owners and what dealers is the only way. I think it is possible to get a court order, but that is going to the extreme.
