Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found this today for 22k. Anybody think its a good find?

POST 2Original post

964 offers the best bang for your buck sports car right now IMO but a cab? EWE

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yah convertible isn't my thing anymore. But its a porsche Never thought of it but never looked at the tires to see if at least the guy put good rubber on it. I wasn't thinking of buying another pcar.

POST 4Original post

in all seriousness the 964's are great value right now. you get the g50 trans and hydrolic clutch plus power steering so you old guys wont have to work so hard... come to think of it my arms are killing me and my foot is sore...where's the link to that car ad?

POST 5Original post

How many miles and what year? I think it is a very fair price for Hawaii. Shipping cost around $2-3K IIRC from the mainland. It looks to be in good shape. '89 and '90 964s are known for their leaks and issues so look for records that they have been addressed. High mileage will require valve guides to be overhauled. That would be the car I drive if I lived in Hawaii no doubt...

POST 6Original post

Looks nice to me. I've decided that my "second Porsche" will be a 964 or 993 convertible. I like the color, too. Owning a convertible in Hawaii = a dream!

POST 7Original post

I forgot to add in the Hawaii factor iin which case I now agree..great car.... its not like you have long winters

POST 8Original post

Owning a convertible in Hawaii = a dream! I would amend that to say owning a Yugo would be fine with me if I lived in Hawaii!
