there MAY just be a chance to do this the factory is finishing up the last 996s. hint: i ordered a car from pepe porsche and it when it arrived, it was missing many things i specified.

Tom, Thanks. I've thought about waiting for a 997C4S but given how "perfect" the 996 version looks and it will be at least 2 yrs before we see the 997C4S, I'm ready to plunge. Your thoughts? Bruce

Go for it you won't be disappointed! The C4S is an awsome platform as is, or to build upon. Chris (If you're near LI, check out Silver Star, they always do a good job and cut a nice deal.)

ive heard great things about silver star blkc4s, if you like the C4S look, it may be better to get one now or take one off a showroom floor there is debate about what the next one will look like, if it will have the wider body at all. (probably) indeed it is still probably 2+~ years away. which is much too long to wait the current C4S has been called one of the most beautiful!, very nice, and there are some great mods for it, like X74, GT2 wing, ec. go for it, you won't regret it. Blkc4s, you have a PM.
