Any info on these guys? They will cover a 2000 porsche for 4 years 60,000 for $2,254 "bumper-to-bumper", inlcuding emmissions systems. Seems like a good deal - they are located on Long Island. They also do business under "Interstate National Dealer Services". Thanks, Loren

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

This is their web site: http://www.warrantydirect.com/index.asp I am not affiliated in any way with this company - in fact I'm looking for some experiences - I did not realize that Porsche required that I buy an extended from them while I was still under warranty and now won't let me buy one (I'm about 3 months out now). thx again, loren
Bucket_hat_Loren:L I assume the four years would begin from the time you purchased the warranty, which would take your coverage out to 2008. It sounds like a good deal to me, certainly far less expensive than the warranty being offered by my local Porsche dealer. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the company. Why don't you visit a couple of Porsche service departments and see if they have had any dealings with the company. It's good to be skeptical about warranty companies unless you have some first hand knowledge about how well they honor their contracts.
I think they also do business as "Interstate National Dealer Services" - does that ring a bell?
Slightly OT, but does Porsche permit you to buy one of its extended warranties after you've bought your car, but while your car is still under the original warranty? I thought that if you didn't buy Porsche's warranty at the same time you bought the car, you were left to the "secondary" market.
