Hi All, Been lurking here for a little while before biting the bullet. First Porsche, took a while but I eventually found the one for me. Couldn't get a better weekend for a cab than what we've had in the GTA so far! Cheers!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Right on. Nice color! First mod: search "bumperplugs".
congrat' and pics on first post.. that is a good start ;D
Congrats and welcome!
Thanks guys! Thanks for the tips, I've already investigated Bumperplugs and will likely get some after our nasty winter passes by. Just fyi, the colour is "Meridian Metallic" from the paint code even though it looks like a normal silver in this picture. I had to immediately de-amber the sides, thanks to Pelican parts for the Hellas!
Welcome, nice cab
Congrats and welcome! Well done on the preemptive amberectomy.
You made the right choice with the cab! Looks like you got the best color too. It will always look clean and you'll find yourself washing it out of guilt, not because it looks dirty. Enjoy!
Nice shot of the cab Welcome to the madness!
Welcome to Rennlist Paulicat. Good looking cab, how many miles and whay year?
welcome - where ya from
GTA would be the Greater Toronto Area. Welcome to another fellow GTA cab owner, I saw one 996/997 cab and two Boxsters yesterday in a short 40 miniutes drive in the west end of the city, all of us had the top down, I wonder why?!
Nice color! And choice too. Did you get service history? BTW we see a lot of Canadians in FL too. Regards,
Thanks for all the kind comments. Its a 2001 with 72,000km. I didn't manage to get a service history as I had hoped, but I did have a PPI done by Hunter Motorsports. They said it was exceptionally clean, with zero leaks in the suspect places, they also took a stethoscope listen and noted no noise out of the ordinary. I'm planning a IMS retrofit when the clutch needs changing in any case. This weekend was phenomenal, the tops were dropped all over!
Hmmm, never heard of Hunter Motorsports until just now, the images on the website are pretty impressive, guess I'll have to check them out at some point in time since it is closer to me by far than EU Autowerks in Woodbridge.
Nice car Paul. Congrats and enjoy!!!
I should have prefaced, I'm in no way connected to Hunter Motorsports! They were recommended to me by a member of the PCA - Upper Canada Region. I have my winter wheels/tires ready...she's gonna be my daily driver.
Welcome to the group !
Congrats!
